Ukraine
Women Together Ukraine started in July 2016 after several years of Director Margaret Gibb and teams of speaking at various Conferences and Retreats from 2010. The need to work among women in leadership was apparent and after speaking with many leaders, Women Together was launched with the appointment of Veronika Nuzha as WT Ukraine Coordinator.
Since 2016, many initiatives were started to encourage, equip and empower leaders. One of most empowering was the Connect Leadership School, a 4 day leadership training gathering for women in leadership.
UPDATE for 2021-2022
Women Together Ukraine has launched a new mentoring course for women called: “World of Healthy Relationships.” This course was written through the combined efforts of Canada – Margaret Gibb and Carol Hurtubise, and Veronika Nuzhna. Ukraine.
In-person gatherings were possible in Ukraine which added to the joy of learning together. Plans are in place to teach this course in churches in Ukraine.

Kenya
The invitation to come to Kenya came to Margaret Gibb and Women Together in 2012. Many confirmations came on that trip confirming that Women Together was called by God to work with Pastor’s Wives, and community leaders and provide needed leadership training to equip and empower key women. From 2011 to 2019 (before COVID), Women Together with teams of nurses, Bible instructors have come to Kenya to provide medical training and clinics and Biblical leadership training to Pastor’s Wives and leaders and taught at the Bible College in Nyang’ori.
We are thankful for all that has happened as we moved forward to follow the leading of God in Kenya. We work in Nairobi, Kisi, Kisumu and Nyangori. Eunice Monda is our current contact.”

UGANDA
Women Together was introduced to ROTOM Ministries in 2015 when two nurses and WT team members were invited to visit this amazing ministry in Mukono, Uganda. ROTOM started as a result of the HIV/AIDS pandemic and saw the great need to help and support grandmothers and grandfathers who were trying to support themselves in their senior years plus raise their grandchildren.
In 2015 Pat Klein and Evelyn Franklin on visiting ROTOM, noted not only their great work with seniors living in villages and the care provided by their administration and medical staff but their need for practical home care support. They noticed in particular the young village girls who were at-risk, marginalized with little former education. In a God-moment, they felt that Women Together could help these young women with a partial and easy-to-understand Home Base Course. Evelyn Franklin a nurse of 45 years took on the challenge.

More than half of the students trained in 2017 & 2019 are working as Home Care Providers. This includes not only for ROTOM seniors but in hospitals and other places where there training opened a door for being a care provider.
Besides the Home Based Care Course, we also provide leadership training for their staff in Mukono and outposts.
Women Together ROTOM formed a partnership in 2016.
This video shows the impact of the Home Based Care.

COLOMBIA
UPDATES
Regular ZOOM meetings are scheduled with dynamic leaders from Colombia. Watch for an announcement soon on a CALLED Colombia conference in 2022.
It all started in Colombia in 2016 when Margaret Gibb accompanied her son, Pastor Tim Gibb (Chair of the Women Together Board of Trustees) on his first trip to this Latin American nation.
That initial invitation included a possibility of Women Together finding a place to work with women. That was the start….with more to come!
Some online training was done after that trip which then lead to another invitation to come back. With Margaret Gibb, Heidi McLaughlin, Carol Ann Hurtubise and Jan Mutter have gone back to come Colombia 2019 and 2020, just prior to COVID.
We work with churches and pastors in Bogota, Chiquinquira and Bucaramanga. Teaching and ministry opportunities opened in public schools, providing leadership training to Home Care Workers and teaching at the YWAM base just outside Bucaramanga.
In February 2020, Women Together hosted 3 CALLED Conferences in the above 3 cities. What joy to see women hold up CALLED momentum’s reminding them that they are called.

Asia is the latest open that has opened for Women Together. It started with an invitation, in September 2020, from Susan Chan, Women’s Commission Director WEA for South East Asia asking Women Together for help her equip, encourage and empower women leaders in her sphere of influence.
Under Women Together Asia, we will be working with leaders from: Thailand, Malaysia, Mongolia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Burma, Pakistan and India.
UPDATES
WT Asia is one year old! It all came together through a God-ordained connection with Susan Chan and Margaret Gibb in August 2020. Together with Heidi McLaughlin, we hosted and taught in 7 online gatherings with leaders coming from 14 nations throughout 2021. These online sessions included: Hope for an Uncertain Future; Stand Firm in Shaky Times, Set Free Soar HIgh. A special online gathering was held with Stephanie Fast with many leaders attending! We also did training sessions on: Leading Like Jesus, The Essence of Worship and a special conference for leaders in Mongolia!
“All glory be to God for the work He did through the Holy Spirit in 2021.” I am so amazed that we reached 17 nations in one years which is impossible if we were to do this physically. The Holy Spirit opened the doors where COVID virus tried to shut.
The tremendous impact and blessings on the numerous women in Asia are indescribable. The messages and teachings were what they needed during this gloomy and uncertain times of the COVID pandemic. We have touched only a small portion of this vast continent. My heart continues to desire for more, more of the nations of Asia.”
Susan Chan, WT Asia Chairperson.
