Mission Trips
What comprises our Missions teams?
The Women Together overseas teams are comprised of skilled and experienced Canadian volunteers who represent the professions – nurses, teachers, doctors, nutritionists, accountants, ministry and leadership leaders – who have a calling to share their knowledge and themselves in service to Christian missions, NGO’s and those who work with women in developing countries.
Where do requests come from?
Women Together selects specific projects received from established connections in developing countries. Currently these come from the International Office of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. We gauge the acceptance of these requests based on the skills sets and expertise of available volunteers in Canada.
How are volunteers chosen?
Volunteers are chosen largely through recommendations and on-going connections in Canada. Volunteers who join a Women Together team are willing to commit one or two weeks a year to invest into an area through relationship building and sharing their abilities and knowledge.
Where is Women Together currently working?
Ukraine, Kenya, Uganda, Colombia, Philippines and Asia.
Watch for a list of up-coming trips and email us! You will be contacted by our International Outreach Coordinator for next steps. An application process is required for all team members.

What are the benefits of joining Women Together?
Coming along-side and working with women in developing countries is a cross-cultural journey of encouraging, equipping and empowering one another to fulfill God’s purposes. Giving women in developing countries new skills, tools and hope is a gift. But it’s a gift that empowers and has mutual rewards. The giving, learning and growing affects not only the one receiving, but also one who gives. When women come together, regardless of cultural differences:
Friendships are born
Walls crumble
Unity of purpose grows
Faith rises
Dreams are released.
